Summer doesn't officially start until June 21, but wow, it's HOT. Now is the perfect time to come into Gear & Beer to grab some drinks, flip flops, a beach towel and head to Kerr lake!
Come on in, the water is fine. Carol and gang have been out kayaking and swimming. It never seems to be too busy at any location on the lake. The camp grounds are open and there are still some camping spots available. Gear & Beer has a whole section of supplies dedicated to things you may have forgotten. We have sunscreen, bug bracelets, playing cards, pain reliever, portable water containers, inflatable sinks, tooth pastes, deodorant, first aid supplies and a ton of other items you forgot to bring.
